When consigning your vehicle online it is important to fill out the information exactly as it is written on your title. The state of Minnesota requires that the bill of sale matches the title.

Spring Grove Auction Company will create your file based on the information provided. This will expedite your vehicle check in process.

After we receive your information you will be issued an auction number. Auction numbers are given on a first come first serve basis. This number will indicate the position your vehicle runs through the auction. There will be 130 positions available – we start with #1 and end with #130. You can request your own number and we will be happy to accommodate if possible. You can also request in between 30 and 50 for example. To ensure a prime position it is highly recommended that you consign early!

All vehicle entries are $100.00. The entry fee is to be paid at the time of consignment. Forms of payment are Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Checks can be mailed to Spring Grove Auction Company 410 3rd Ave SW, Spring Grove MN 55974.

TERMS OF AUCTION: Protected price may be lowered at any time by seller. Protected price cannot be raised after auction company has received a listing agreement. If said vehicle is sold within 60 days to any person as a direct result of the auction, advertising or promotions, than I shall agree to pay the commission on the he stated reserve price. Seller warrants that he/she is sole and only owner and had the right to sell vehicle and has clear consent from lien holder. Seller agrees to provide buyer with good, clear and transferable title and agrees to correct any title defects and/or pay the costs associated with providing buyer with good, clear and transferable title as required by the state where buyer seeks to register vehicle. Seller agrees to consent to the sale of this vehicle subject to the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Purchase Invoice and Bill of Sale, Seller authorizes SGA to release said vehicle to the successful buyer and agrees to rely only upon the buyer for payment, thereby, releasing SGA from any and all legal obligation for collection, attorney fees, or any costs and/or expenses connected with this sale. If, as convenience, Spring Grove Auction should issue payment to the seller on behalf of the buyer, the payment can be withheld, cancelled or revoked at any time at SGA’s discretion until proper, good funds are received by SGA from the buyer. Proceeds from the sale may be withheld at SGA’s discretion to satisfy any existing debt or obligation owed to Spring Grove Auction by the seller. Buyer and seller agree that SGA shall assume no liability for loss, theft, or damage arising out of said purchase. Buyer and seller should maintain their own insurance. Title may be held by SGA until any and all funds due clear SGA’s bank or until cash is received. Spring Grove Auctions will pay the seller when payment is received and confirmed from the buyer. Seller checks will be mailed within 5 business days. Spring Grove Auctions will not release vehicle(s) until payment is received. Spring Grove Auction Company is licensed and bonded in the state of Minnesota and will certify funds from the buyer. We will then promptly pay sellers. If the seller would like to take payment from the buyer at time of auction. Seller is free to do so, however, all auction fees and applicable state fees must be payed to the auction company by buyer/seller before the vehicle will be released. *

When consigning your vehicle with Spring Grove Auction Company we will begin to promote the sale of your vehicle immediately! Forms of advertising will include:

  • Radio – we are advertising the Rochester MN and the Decorah IA radio markets.
  • News Print – Madison WI, Lacrosse WI, Minneapolis/St Paul, Des Moines Ia, Austin MN major news papers as well as other smaller town publications.
  • Direct Mailing – we are mailing directly to all car clubs and classic car oriented businesses as well as our own mailing list which includes hundreds of previous auction buyers and sellers.
  • Posters and Flyers – we are aggressive gorilla marketers.
  • Major Automobile Publications – Old Cars Weekly major ad campaign, Autabuy Magazine 2 months full page color advertising.
  • Eblast – 2 Old Cars Weekly eblasts reaching more than 50,000 email addresses.

This is some but not all of our advertising campaign. For the $100.00 fee to enter your vehicle in our auction we will be able to offer world-class marketing of your vehicle which you would never be able to justify spending on your own. Thanks and we’ll see you at the auction!
